Please let me introduce myself:

My name is Tamara de Beer and I am an Ayurvedic Therapist for almost 15 years. I graduated at the Academy of Ayurvedic Studies in Amsterdam following a 4 year HBO study including internships in the Netherlands and India.

 

I started my own practise with offering health consultations for a healthier, stronger, happier, more conscious body, mind & emotions. Over the years I have expanded my activities with specialising in massaging people for relaxation or who are low in energy, have physical pains or injuries, need guidance in life, burnout or other illnesses.

Whatever it is, is welcome by me. I thoroughly enjoy providing massages and related bodywork. To connect with you through my hands and with my energy is a beautiful way of practicing mindfulness and it gives me great joy to see you feel better then beforehand.

 

Some people come for an weekly or 'once a month massage' to relax, others for a monthly or seasonal health consultation and some I give massages and/or guidance to for a longer track with weekly /several monthly meet ups. All depends on your needs, your health and my advise.  

 

For the massages I use warm (sesame)oil and I massage with long deep stokes for deep ultimate relaxation and can tackle muscles and joints if they are aching or are blocked.

I also provide massages with tantric or yogic breathwork. There will be an easy breath exercise before, during and after the massage to sink deeper into your body, opening up your entire being so you become fully present in the moment. I will do breath work during the whole massage and sometimes I'll invite you to breathe with me. The massage will be with slower and with deeper movements and our energies will expand. All done in a safe place and nothing will be done without your approval. 

*please note that a 'happy ends', touching of the genitals or yoni/lingam massages is not what I am offering*

 

I absolutely love giving pregnancy and postnatal care and have been doing this for the past 10 years. It is so beneficial for you and your baby to receive monthly massages during pregnancy. For your recovery after given birth I recommend regular massages the first 6 weeks. In Ayurveda the first 42 days after given birth are crucial for your health in the next 42 years. No joke!

I have seen so many women a year after given birth or during and after menopauze with health issues what can be retrieved to not have taken healthy and loving care the first 6 weeks after given birth. That's how important 'de kraamtijd' is.

I can also coach you about what's beneficial to do & don't, eat & drink and how to regulate your emotions and hormones while you're pregnant and after birth.

Postnatal, I can massage you with warm oils in your own bed, taking all the time that's needed. It will be slow, healing and very loving. There will be plenty of space for all your and your baby's needs.

Also I provide recovering herbal Ayurvedic medicine and can belly bind you (and learn you how to do that) in de weeks after given birth. Visiting you at your home and offering gentle and loving support in this vulnerable time.
