Ayurvedic consultation
Are you experiencing health challenges? Perhaps you’re feeling more fatigued than usual or noticing a drop in your energy levels. Maybe you’re dealing with recurring aches, pains, or blockages in your body. Your digestion might not be what it used to be—frequent bloating after meals, constipation, or irregular bouts of diarrhea could be disrupting your routine. Is your mind constantly racing, leaving you feeling restless or drained? Persistent negative thoughts and mental exhaustion can weigh heavily, while overwhelming emotions, hormonal imbalances, or a low libido might make it hard to feel like yourself. Does any of this sound familiar?
If you are living with a mental or physical illness, I welcome you to schedule a consultation. Embracing an Ayurvedic lifestyle can be profoundly beneficial and may help alleviate symptoms while supporting your overall healing journey.
I will begin by asking questions about your physical and mental health, lifestyle, medical history, and dietary habits. This will be followed by a pulse and tongue diagnosis, and if needed, a physical examination. Based on my findings, I’ll develop a personalized plan to address any imbalances, focusing on improving digestion, mental and emotional well-being, physical relaxation, and enhancing your overall energy and happiness. Additionally, I may recommend Ayurvedic herbal or mineral remedies to support your journey toward better health.

Abhyanga - Warm oil holistic relaxing massage treatment
A therapeutic massage designed to gently calm your entire system, helping you achieve deep relaxation and a stronger connection between your body and mind. This process works to release blockages and restore the natural flow of your energy. Using a base of sesame oil, I may also incorporate Ayurvedic herbs or a soothing rose blend, particularly for pregnant or postnatal women. Each massage is customized to your unique needs, with adjustments to pressure, movement, and pace based on your current constitution (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha). Before we begin, I may ask a few questions to ensure the experience is perfectly tailored to you.
Experience a soothing full-body massage that covers every part of you—from head to toe, front and back (including your back, arms, legs, feet, belly, and chest)—and concludes with a relaxing head massage.
The room will be cozy and warm, and you’ll be comfortably covered with soft blankets. On colder days, a crackling fire in the wood stove will add even more to the relaxing atmosphere.
Available at my practice in Almere Hout, or I can visit you at home for late pregnancy and postnatal care.

Warm oil massage treatment with Yoga breathwork
This massage treatment begins with a calming breathing exercise as you relax on the table, my hands gently resting on your body. At times, we may start with a brief meditation to center your mind and body. I’ll then move into the massage using warm oil, applying deep, slow, and flowing strokes. The intention is to help you reconnect with your entire being and the world around you. My hands serve as the bridge to facilitate this connection. Throughout the session, I may incorporate soft breathwork, and if it feels right, I might invite you to join in—or allow you to simply receive and relax. Everything is guided by the moment and what feels natural. Each massage is entirely intuitive, with no rigid routine or formula. Prior to your session, we’ll take time to discuss your preferences, boundaries, and needs to ensure it’s tailored specifically to you. During the massage, you’re always welcome to share feedback so we can adjust as needed. Your comfort and well-being are my priority.
The room will be warm an I will cover you with a blanket(s). On cold days there will be a fire burning in the wood stove :)

What foods, drinks, and medicines are safe and beneficial?
How are you nurturing your emotional and mental well-being?
Is your body feeling relaxed and prepared?
Let me guide you through each month, step by step, and help you prepare for a calm and confident birth experience.
Along with consultations, I recommend a monthly massage for relaxation, and in the 9th month, weekly massages to help your body prepare for giving birth.
Postnatal care/Postpartum massage
In the comfort of your own home, I offer you a soothing warm oil massage in your own bed and a compassionate listening ear. There’s no rush—just the time and attention you need to feel supported.
This is a slow, soft and calming massage designed to bring you back in your body, calm your nervous system and feel wrapped in love through my healing hands.
I can also guide you through belly binding, demonstrating the process so you can confidently do it yourself.
Once the bleeding has subsided, we can incorporate a gentle yoni steam with carefully selected herbs to support your healing.
I also offer advice on Ayurvedic remedies that can aid in your recovery.
If you like, I can coach you on what’s best for you during the first 6 weeks after birth -the critical postpartum period- and extending up to the first year. I can teach you what to do, what to avoid, and how to nourish your body and mind through proper food, drinks, lifestyle choices, how to balance your hormones and rebuild your strength.
Anything of the above is possible, tailor made, whatever suits you.
'Nourishing your Soul' therapy session
Immerse yourself in a 1 hour or 1.5 hour session designed to help you reconnect with your body, feel your emotions, notice your thoughts, release tension and deeply relax. Sitting together on a comfortable shiatsu mat, the session is an opportunity to nourish your entire being, let go of what no longer serves you, and sink into a profound state of relaxation and presence.
How does it work?
Through a combination of breathwork, guided meditation, gentle touch, Ayurvedic yoga postures (primarily restorative yoga), and other tailored bodywork techniques, we’ll address what your body and mind need most at that moment—whether it’s healing, release, or nourishment.
